Best. Christmas. Present. Ever!

I raked the yard for my dad's Christmas present.  It was pretty easy.  I usually have trouble with the heat and sun, but this time I had trouble with the cold weather and rain.  I just realized that the after pictures are on the other computer, which has no internet.  Hmm...  Well, here
are the before pictures:

Just imagine it all green and without the pine needles.

Fall Leaves... Vines

Today, while raking, I took some pictures, and this is one of them:

I've been admiring this vine for quite some time, and have wanted to take a picture of it, and I finally got around to it!  Yay!

Crash!

I will not be posting for a while because last night, when my family and I were sitting at the table, we heard this explosion/crash sound coming from the area of our computer.  There's a window by our computer, so we thought it was a huge branch that fell.  My dad and sister went out to see if somethimg had fallen on our house.  There wasn't anything, but we thought it might have been at our neighbor's house because all of their lights were out. (Then my sister walked in and realized that is was midnight.)

Earlier that night, my brother had turned off the computer becuase there was tons of thunder and a little bit of lightning.  When my dad tried to turn it back on it didn't work.  So, as it turns out, the computer (or monitor) had "exploded" (crashed).  We don't know which it was yet because we don't have another monitor to test the computer on, and the monitor won't turn on. :(

I won't be postimg for a while. Sorry! I really wish I could.  Not that I would have time, but still.  :)

la Lámpara (the Lamp)

So, today I am posting, yet another, picture from my Grandma's house. :)  It's where I spend lots of my time and so, naturally, I take pictures here.  But today, my (family's) camera broke.  It soooo wasn't me... Maybe...  Oh well... I hope it will be fixed easily (and not pricey).  We'll see.

Anyways, I took this lovely picture from under one of the lamps in the living room.

I think this is one of my favorites from my blog.  It's all gold and creamy...  I love it.  And the shadow and whatnot.  It looks like Sepia, but it's really all the lightbulb, plus the stand is bronze.  That probably helps some too.

The Rumor Weed

This picture just makes me think of that Veggietales with the "Rumor Weed" I'll see if I can put a link at the end of this post to the part with it.  :) Oh, childhood memories....  Great.

Well, I actually like this picture a lot!  It's sooo cool, and it's like the stuff I normally do.

I really, really like it! So much I want to cry...  Not really that much...  I like how the crack curves.  And the dirt with clover inside.  It's like a really long road.  In a way...  Whatever.

Here's the link to the Rumor Weed

Christmas at Grandma's

Ugh.  I haven't posted in what seems like FOREVER!  But, nevertheless, I am now posting.  Here are some pictures of the angels my Grandma (my family, meaning the kids) has up every Christmas.  Right now my Grandma is actually talking about when she was "Young and crazy" and would buy 3 evergreens in pots and plant them in her front yard.  :)  But this was in Kansas, mind you.

The orchestra of angels.  They are actually Christmas tree ornaments, but I have never seen them on her tree.  Just table decorations, I guess.  Maybe there's not room on her tree.  It's a little small, anyways.

Reading a Book

I was reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in the kitchen and then I started taking pictures and I just felt like I should take a picture of my book.

I like how blue the window looks.  Dusk in Texas. :)
