Mavis, At Long Last!

Finally, my cat has come to live at our house with us.  She has gone a bit insane.  She's VERY jumpy and freaks out if you make sudden actions.  She's gone crazy.  :)

Anyways, here are some pictures of her in her new room...  Enjoy!

It is very difficult to get a good picture of her face.  But, although these are fuzzy, I think these are all right pictures.

This is one of the few good pictures I have of Mavis' Face.

The flash kind of freaked her out and she made weird, crazy faces. 

I LOVE this shot.  It's just dramatic and shadowy... I don't know... But I like it. :)

Lichen!

So, the other day I was out taking pictures, and I stumbled upon this. :)

I just really like it.  I don't know why.  I think it might be my like of pictures with lots of texture.  Hmm.

SHROOMS!!!

I know I haven't blogged in a looong while, so I thought I would now.  What better time?  

Here are some mushrooms that are growing in our flower pot.  

Today, in this heat, they were flopped onto the side of the pot.  So, apparently, I got them in their prime.  :)  And, apparently, mushrooms have a "prime"...

Mavis: Through the Ages

So, I miss my cat like CRAZY! She's at a different house than me, and I only see her for about 5 minutes every day. :( Quite sad. :( So, since I miss her so much, I have decided to do a little through-the-ages thingy here.  Pretty exciting, huh? :) So, here you go:

  

These were taken when she was a wee little bit.  She was teeny tiny.  I mean seriously small.

This is, without saying (but I am saying it anyways), the more mature, older Mavis. :P

The usual, cat in the window, sillouette picture.  I like it, actually. :)

She was playing with the dog's paws under the door. :)  I love my cat.

Here is her having a little crazy hyper rampage.  She used to do that a lot.  Well, she might do that now, and I'm just not there to see it.  Who knows?

And finally, a beauty shot. :)  She is not a very photogenic cat, as you may have noticed, but she is amazingly pretty in person. :)

To conclude, Mavis is large now.  Her kitty days are over. :(  She's growing up!  I don't have any recent pictures of her, but trust me, she's big!

Lily of the Nile

Right in front of our house we have some lily of the Nile plants... flowers...  Anyway, my grandma loves them and she asked me to take pictures of them periodically.  So, here they are:

Just Some Catching Up

I haven't really been posting lately.  I'm sorry to all of those who ask at church if there are any new posts and I have to say that I haven't yet, but I will.  Well, this is me FINALLY doing it. :)  Sorry it took so long!

Okay, let's get down to business.  I am posting some pictures that I have taken over time in the past month-ish....  So, here they are:

I really like this little white chair.  It sits next to my grandma in her wheelchair.  :)  It's for any visitors, or if we just want to visit. :)

These were my Grandpa's gloves.  They're huge.  And worn.  And cute. :)  In a old-vintage-y way... :)

Not to toot my own horn, (but toot, toot) but I think this is the prettiest picture I've taken and it looks professional.  But, that's coming from the person who took it, so, what does it count for???  :P

Magnolias, Daisies, and Tulips

Yesterday my grandma asked me to go take a picture of her little Magnolia tree with a blossom.

These are some Magnolia buds.

Karis got flowers for her birthday yesterday.  They were gerber daisies, tulips, and lilies.

Flowers

Yesterday, we finally got our Easter decorations up.  And I, of course, took pictures of them.
