Christmas Lights

Since we put up our tree, and since we have nothing else good to photograph, I took pictures of the lights on the tree:

I especially like the third and final one.  It's nice.  And bright.  Well, they're all, obviously, bright, but the last is, in my opinion, the brighest.

By the way...  if any of you are looking for a present for me, I want the Canon Rebel XT.  My friend got one recently and I am jealous.  But she also bought hers with her own money...  I'm kind of saving up for one, though.

Dictionary

I tried lots of different things with our dictionary today.  I tried doing the thing where you stand a ring up and make it into a heart, but that failed.  Then I tried to take a picture of my mom's wedding ring over the word "love", but that too failed.  I tried using a magnifying glass after my failures.  This turned out quite well, I think.  My result was this:

A magnifying glass over the word "photo".  Aren't I clever?!  A photo of the word photo!  Woohoo.  Crazy woman.  :)  Hehe, well...

RAIN!!!!!

It rained today!  I know what you're thinking.  "Why is she so excited about rain?"  But rain in Texas is pretty exciting.  So far it has rained one or two inches!  Yay!!!  :)

That's the rain on our truck. :)  Oh.  Rain makes me so happy.

I just looked at Weather.com and there is an alert for "Fire Weather Watch".  Wow.

From Thanksgiving to Christmas

I sort of have my posts from Thursday and Friday in this one post.  It's our Thanksgiving feast and the Christmas tree.  We put up the tree yesterday as a family tradition.

There they are.  I will do my post for today later on.  So please come check back to see if I did it yet.

Grandma's House

Most of today has been spent at my grandma's house.  So, I took my camera.  I actually got some pretty nice photos while there.

Today we set up for Thanksgiving tomorrow.  We set the table with my mom's china and crystal. Those are some flowers that Grandma got from my aunt and uncle.

This is next to the fireplace and the french doors.

This is in the guest room.  It is the two different colored walls and a desk in the corner.

The Red Pear

Today Mom bought red pears at H-E-B.  They're really pretty so I took a picture of one on our shiny white and black spotted counter.

I like the reflection and the red Kitchenaid mixer in the background.  This was my mom's favorite.

 Here are some others:

I think I like the first one best too.  Yep.  Definitely the first.

Angel Trumpet Tree

Here is today's picture:

I really have nothing to say about it.  It's not even the one I wanted to post but the iPhoto rotated it, and the Finder desktop thing didn't.  So, therefore, it did not come up in the right direction on Blogger.  Annoying!  Anyways, it is part of our angel trumpet tree.  Obviously, that is not the trumpet part.

The Begining of the Orange Snow

If you live in the piney woods, you are familiar with what my family likes to call the "orange snow".  Two words: pine needles. You can't avoid it.  This is just the begining, though.  Last year all we saw of our yard was orangeness.

Yep.  Deck, driveway, and yard.  It basically consumes all grass and anything else on the ground.  Oh, and the roof.  Can't forget the roof.

Oldie

I just have been looking at this picture for a couple of days and have decided to finally post it. I just couldn't wait till tomorrow.

Yeah, as you can probably tell, I messed with it a lot.  I had fun with it. It actually had the green moss on it. I didn't add it on in photoshop or anything.  Nope. Just made it grainy and gave it a faint fuzzy black border.  I actually don't have photoshop so I couldn't even do that stuff if I wanted to.

Fall

So, it's fall now, and I figured I could put a picture of some fall leaves.  So, here they are in their full yellowness.

Once again, my camera focuses AMAZINGLY!
