Beautiful Bouquet

So, there is a multitude of flowers at our house because of my sister and grandma receiving them.  I deceided I would shoot some because they are be-a-utiful!  These are on the table, but there are others in the livingroom, by the door, and in the kitchen.  We have PLENTY! :) hehe...

There were beautiful big sunflowers mixed in with the other flowers.  They make me so happy. :)

This is just amazing focus and lighting.  I am sooooo super proud of my camera!

The daisies were definitley the easiest to shoot.  Mostly because there was that big bud-thing in front so that the focus was on the daisies, but it works! :)

My favorite picture is the sunflowers at the top.  It's just so bright and happy!  :)

A Day on the Porch

Earlier this week my mom and I were out on the back porch.  I was working on my schoolwork and we were playing with the dogs.  I had the camera and took pictures of my grandma's beautiful plants.  (She also came out and pointed out lots of tiny buds that my mom and I didn't even see)  Here are some pictures of dogs and plants (and a wall).

 Our dogs are both pretty much food-driven, so when Nate got out the treats, they knew what to do.

I really, really, REALLY like this picture of Drover! The light and focus are perfect!  

I like how the focus is on the buds and everything else around it is fuzzy!

I just like the, um..., lines in this picture.  And the contrast of clean brick and dusty/dirty brick. :)

The light was just amazing that day. This is my grandma sitting out on the porch.  She really enjoyed looking at all of the plants and seeing the doggies. :)

Not Going Gently

COLORado

I have been wanting to post picture from our trip this past summer, but they were always on a different computer.  But not today!  I am posting some flower pictures.  They're just from around different places.

These were in the front yard of where we stayed.

My dad, my brother, and I took a hike and I took our camera.  We came across a lot of flowers and I managed to get a couple good shots.

These were in town outside of a little row of little cute shops.  We sat outside on the wooden steps.  :)
 

And lastly, here are some Poppies!  They're just be-a-utiful!  Wouldn't you agree?  

I did absolutely nothing to these pictures.  It's just amazing lighting and beautiful colors.  All of these pictures have great color.  But I think it's mostly Colorado itself.

Valentine's Day (sorta)

So.... I took this picture on Valentine's Day, and I'm calling it Valentine's Day, but it  is really two days after... Is that cheating???  Of course NOT!  :)  Hehe...  So, anyways, here is my picture:

They are Carnations.  My wonderful siblings bought them for me and they were delivered by people at my school.  I love my sisters and brother!  They're grrrrrrr-eat!!!!!    

Mavis & Drover

So, these two pets are great.  Drover is extremely photogenic, but Mavis...  Not so much.  They are both adorable, but you can rarely ever get a good picure of my cat's face.

These were from the early days of Mavis.  I got her for Christmas 2010.  Best present ever!  I couldn't stop smiling for days! :D  I love her.  Thanks, Parents!!!!

Oh.  Yeah...  Drover is my brother's.  He's alright.  :) hehe...

Beautiful Sunset

Today, I looked at my archive thing on the sidebar and deceided it was time to post again.  Ugh!  I only posted three times in the past thirty-one days.

Anyways, I have picked this photo for today because it was quite a gloomy day, and I thought it could use some color.

It's one of my old pictures (before I had a blog).  I also took this one of my brother standing on our dock fishing.  :)

I Don't Know What to Call This...

There is like NOTHING to take pictures of anymore.  So, you're going to see a LOT of these pictures where it like goes off into the distance... I feel like there should be a name for that.  Maybe there is.  Hmm....

Night Lights

Tonight as my mom and I were on our way home, I took this shot.  It's not much.  Just a small town with stoplights, brake lights, and headlights.  Yep.  Oh, and the reflection of the inside of our truck.

I just like the way it looks.  I enjoy the fuzziness.  Today I told my mom, "Your therapy is blogging, and mine is taking pictures."  'Tis true, 'tis true. :)

Little Bit of Everything

I don't know why I haven't been posting lately.  I've just been busy and tired.  I think those qualify for excuses. :)  But, today, I was just excited to take pictures.  I took lots.  I couldn't decide which I should post, so I'm posting five. :)  I mean, Who really needs decisions on photos?

I seriously just took this picture, but it looks like night.  Weird.

The only surviving and blossoming begonia my mom and I planted last year at the start of the summer. Bad idea.  (Like we knew there would be a drought!)

This is bullet shells on my shelf.  It was under a shadow so I pointed my flashlight on the copper ones. (There is a rifle shell out of the light)

I just like the way this one looks.  It's cute. :)

So there are my pictures.  They aren't as good of quality as my old ones because these are from a different camera.  Something happened to the other one. :(
